Original Pokemon Project: #004 Technore (Draft)

I started a project a while ago of creating a Pokemon based on and for my friends. The criteria for this project that each of the Pokemon has a base stat of 550, is a single stage Pokemon with Mega Evolution (to be uploaded in the future) and would be a strong Pokemon you'd find later in the game (like Scyther and Magmar in the original games). 
I also undertook this project to help push my drawing and shading skills to the next level and you can actually seem them improve other the course of the project.

For my friend Ash I designed him a badass tank of a Pokemon. I wanted to give him an uncommom typing that offered a lot of options and also so that the Pokemon I designed for him and his girlfriend would act as counters to each other (Her's was Raidos). I can't quite remember how I came to this design but I remember that the triceratops like head was inspired by a helmet his character wore in the game Ark; plus I wanted to do something that just looked dangerous like the four arms tipped with long claws and that it looked like it could take a hit and keep on going.  

Ability wise I've given Technore Battle Armour and Sturdy because I wanted is to be a very tanky Pokemon and both those abilities allow it to stay standing long enough to get in a hit. For its Hidden ability I've given it Wonder Guard but not to worry Technore has some common weaknesses in the form of Ground, Fire and Fighting (plus it added to the whole yin yang thing I've got going with his girlfriend's Pokemon).

Example moves from Technore's moveset include Metal Claw, Hone Claws, Earthquake, Iron Defence and Mirror Coat.

Stat wise Technore boast high defence stats in both categories with decent attack and very low speed to balance him out. 

Once I've completed all the mega forms I'll upload a full infograph type picture which will contain the full move list, base stat distribution, shiny colouration and more.
